Greenearth's Beginning...
I admit
that I have not always been in the fore-front of the
movement toward 'green' living...at least not
consciously. I started becoming more aware of eating
'healthier' when I was pregnant with my daughter (who is
now in her late 20's and has blessed me with a 2+ yr old
grandson).
Over the
years of raising my daughter I began to research and
experiment a little more with growing some of my own
foods. I began with container gardening methods because
I mostly lived in apartments or townhomes with little to
no yard and small patios. No matter where I lived,
I tried to grow some type of vegetable or greens.
Hey! You
gotta do what you gotta do...Right? At some point in my
life's journey, I decided I wanted to do more for myself
and for others. My friends and family have always
sought out my advice and help in growing their flower
and vegetable gardens, so I decided to start with that.
Due to the lack of yard space to produce many of my
gardens, I had began using the
Award-Winning EarthBox
(container gardening at its best) and immediately fell
in love! The system is so easy to setup and use and my
gardens just flourish. I've since turned a number of people
into
EBers
like myself and they are very satisfied as well.
Over the
past two years since I started
Greenearth Living,
I have gone from offering my services to help setup
gardens and selling organic seedlings that I start
myself, to now include my online
Garden Center
where I sell the famous
EarthBoxes
along with other all natural and organic products for
organic gardening. I have also added two other entities:

Greenearth Habitat
- a 24/7 webstore featuring eco-friendly, organic and
all natural products for the home and family
-
Greenearth Haven4Kids
- a non-profit organization devoted to teaching and
encouraging children about "living the green life"
through growing organically, learning about
alternative energy resources, eco-friendly and organic
materials for our person and our homes, and so much
more
My story
is still unfolding...as my dreams continue.
Greenearth Living
now encompasses not only growing organically but
implementing other 'green' techniques and methods into
daily living, like alternative energy sources of solar
and wind power...even something as simple as who I host
my websites with...a company that is also implementing
'green' methods. Every little thing counts...a baby step
that leads to running...at top speed!
I have plans
to grow my
Greenearth
concepts even more in 2010... won't you join me on my
journey. My heart simply explodes with
love and pride when I see someone, ESPECIALLY
children, see
what their hands have sown and what they have harvested from
their very own garden and whatever bit of help I was
able to give, AHHHH.....the feeling is
indescribable!
